RCD at Player’s Theater Loft and More…

Hey friends,

Rap Crimes Division has a four-week run this January. Here’s how it works: you could definitely come out and just see us at 9:30 at the Player’s Theater loft on 115 MacDougal street every Thursday in January OR for the same $6 that it would cost you, you could come to five (FIVE) full shows, starting at 7:00 and capping off with us at 9:30.

The schedule works like this:

From 6 to 7 is a free mixer where anyone can get on stage to do improv. From 7:00 to 8:00 is ‘We’re Matt Weir’ (they are, in fact, both named Matt Weir) and The Incubator Repertory; from 8:00 to 9:00 is an hour of competitive improv where four teams will be created from anyone who wants to play on them and each have a ten-minute set. Finally, the evening caps out with half an hour of old-timey in-the-dark radio improv with a team called BAT and yours truly with his group Rap Crimes Division at 9:30.

Will it be more awesome than a death match between an elephant and a velociraptor? Yes. Which of those animals would win in a fight? Only you can decide. What the hell am I talking about? I forgot.

Anyway:

Rap Crimes Division
The Player’s theater workshop space
115 MacDougal street, 3rd Floor
Thursdays January 7, 14, 21, and 28.
BYOB (unless you resolved, finally, not to)

Probably the Elephant wins.
Unless there is a pack of Raptors.
