Home of the Lowest Highest Point and the University of Delaware, Rap Crimes recently returned from a whirlwind weekend road trip to the First State. RCD performed alongside U of D’s homegrown improv troupe, Riot Act, before a full house. )You can check out some of Riot Act’s videos here at Youtube.com/riotactnow.) We also workshopped the young performers through various forms of organic edits as well as providing notes on general improv scenework. New lessons were learned, great shows were performed, and new friendships were forged. Overall, an immensely successful weekend.
RCD is available to travel to where you are to provide a custom-made workshop for beginning, intermediate, and advanced improvisers. We pride ourselves in being flexible to your needs. Workshops can be tailored to focus on areas the students wish to work on, or they can be centered around what we think would be of greatest benefit to the students. The Rap Crimes Division’s workshops are designed to encourage the abilities of the improvisers; the creativity and natural talents of students are supported and developed in a relaxed yet productive setting.
